Mrs. Margaret Kern brings a rich and diverse professional background to her role as Spanish II teacher at Tri-City Christian Academy. With over nine years of experience in education, coaching, and spiritual care, she is passionate about fostering both academic excellence and personal growth in her students.

 

Fluent in Spanish, French, and English—with additional proficiency in Mandarin Chinese—Mrs. Kern offers students more than just language instruction. Her global perspective, developed through immersive educational experiences across Latin America, Europe, India, and China, allows her to create a dynamic classroom environment that highlights the cultural depth and practical application of language learning.

 

Mrs. Kern holds a Bachelor’s degree in World Religion from Long Island University’s Global College and a Master of Divinity from Regent University, where she received multiple academic grants and awards. Prior to joining TCCA, she worked extensively in executive coaching, pastoral care, and cross-cultural education, including chaplaincy work within healthcare and military contexts.

 

She is also the founder of New Beginnings Today, a nonprofit focused on spiritual renewal and ecological sustainability, where she continues to support community needs through faith-based outreach and education.

 

Mrs. Kern is committed to integrating faith, cultural awareness, and academic rigor in her teaching. At TCCA, she seeks to inspire her students not only to master the Spanish language but also to embrace the values of service, empathy, and global citizenship.
