An Important Update from the Head of School

September 2, 2021

Dear TCCA Families, Faculty, and Staff:
The official beginning of our new school year together will be tonight’s Open House, which will be held
at both campuses from 7:00 to 8:00 PM. Middle and High School Departments at West High Street and
Kindergarten and Elementary Departments at Rocky Hill Road. Parents new to TCCA will receive special
welcomes and introductions at their respective campuses between 6:30 and 7:00 PM. We’re very much looking
forward to seeing you this evening – some of you again, and some of you for the first time, but all of you in-
person!

We have retained a very strict COVID-related policy from last year concerning keeping students home
when they exhibit illness symptoms. This is really an emphasis and expansion on our previous common-sense
illness policy. And we have retained a student drop-off protocol that was found to be very beneficial to the safe
and efficient operation of our school. Details of both policies can be found in our Parent/Student Handbook on
our school’s website at www.tcca-nh.com.

Some of our faculty members have been ill recently, and some are complying with COVID quarantine
protocols. Miss Stephanie Habrial will be completing her quarantine requirements by tomorrow. She will be
represented tonight by Mrs. Dianne West, our Guidance Counselor. Our new Second Grade teacher, Mrs.
Tamari Nduaguibe, is expected to be out of school until Monday, September13th. Her classroom will be staffed
this evening by Miss Rebekah Rogier, a TCCA grad and a (SUPER!) teacher aide last year. And we’re hoping
Rev. John Correia will be fully recovered from his recent bout with the flu by the beginning of school.
It’s going to be a great year. I know we always say that, but it’s always true. God has brought our
Christian school a long, long way since our beginning thirty-six years ago. Thank you for being an important
part of this bold venture we call Tri-City Christian Academy!

Sincerely in Christ,

Paul T. Edgar
Head of School

PS: All Kindergarten Department parents and students are invited to tomorrow morning’s Kindergarten
Orientation to be held at our Rocky Hill Road campus. Students will be escorted to their classrooms by their
parents, who will then assemble in our gym for light refreshments and a parent orientation. Arrival time will be
between 8:00 and 8:30 AM with both student and parent orientations concluding by 10:00 AM.
