Biography

Mrs. Karen Rogier has been teaching for what seems like forever. From working at her church's after school daycare in Virginia Beach while in high school, teaching at a Christian School in Maine, homeschooling her girls for a time, to finally teaching high school history/government, middle school history, Bible and science here at TCCA.  She has been at TCCA since 2018 with her oldest graduating in the class of 2020 and her youngest in the class of 2024. Mrs. Rogier is very active with her family in her church in Barrington, NH where she is part of the worship team and hospitality ministries where she was also  previously the worship leader/choir director for more than a decade.

Mrs. Rogier met her husband (a NH native) while he was in the Navy and stationed in Virginia Beach where she lived due to her father's Navy career. While working at a local Christian bookstore, her friend invited her to a biker Bible study where she met her husband in 1999. His enlistment was up the end of that year and in 2000 Mrs. Rogier moved to NH where they were married in the same church they attend currently. All four of the Rogiers are also part of CMA (Christian Motorcyclists Association).

Having been originally from Philadelphia, PA, with many war veterans as relatives, Mrs. Rogier grew up with a strong sense of patriotism and love of all things history. She is currently pursuing her Bachelor of Science degree in History through Liberty University.

Most importantly Mrs. Rogier loves to teach the students about God and His love for them and His grace through salvation in Christ, His Son. One of Mrs. Rogier's favorite scriptures is Psalm 46 (verses 1-3 particularly):
"God is our refuge and strength,
    an ever-present help in trouble.
Therefore we will not fear, though the earth give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the sea,
though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging."
