Ernest Scheyder · TCCA Class of 2002
Ernest Scheyder, a member of the graduated Class of 2002, has recently received the "Spirit of Maine Achievement Award" from the University of Maine. Here is what they recently published on their website regarding this prestigious honor:

The Spirit of Maine Achievement Award winner is Ernest Scheyder ’06, a journalist at Reuters. Scheyder’s work focuses on transportation and the energy industry. He has also covered national stories, including the the 2020 Presidential campaign, Dakota Access Pipeline, Sandy Hook massacre, and Penn State abuse scandal. He began his career with the Maine Campus and the Bangor Daily News before earning a master’s at Columbia Journalism School and working for the Associated Press.
Angelica Hach · TCCA Class of 2011
Angelica Hach, a member of the graduated Class of 2011, has recently been accepted to York County Community College. She plans on satisfying her general education requirements at YCCC, thereafter to pursue her degree with a dual concentration in Business Management and 3D Animation. Her intermediate objective is to start a wood shopping business with her father designing 3D models for engineering purposes aspiring long term to open her own daycare facility.
During her tenure here at TCCA, Ms. Hach was the model student. She worked diligently to improve her academic performance, availed herself of every possible opportunity to serve her school community, respected the faculty and staff, and treated her classmates with dignity and grace. Mrs Claudette Lewis, TCCA's Administrative Assistant and Angelica's work study supervisor, commented, "Miss Angelica Hach was an office assistant during her senior year (2010-2011) at Tri-City Christian Academy. While in the office, Miss Hach was responsible to take messages, to make copies, to prepare mailings, and to help the Administrative Assistant with various duties. During her time in the office, parents and visitors alike were treated with the utmost respect and a caring spirit. Miss Hach was an example to us all of what Tri-City Christian Academy stands for, 'personalized attention in a community setting.' It is our prayer that Miss Hach is blessed abundantly in her college endeavor."
Jared Thompson · TCCA Class of 2007
TCCA alumnus is Crimson Bound! In his ongoing pursuit of a professional medical career in emergency room services, alumnus, Jared Thompson, was recently accepted into the highly reputed health careers program of the Harvard University Extension School The program, among other things, will entail the successful completion of advanced studies in the field of science. Jared's objective is to eventually apply for admittance into Harvard Medical School once he completes this intense course of study. Jared secured his BS in Sports Medicine with a concentration in Athletic Training this past May from the University of Maine. Jared will undoubtedly serve to improve the character and quality of the medical profession. Mazel tov!
Harrison Kaszynski · TCCA Class of 2006
Harrison graduated and received his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from Elmira College on a full scholarship. He is currently working in Portland, ME. During his senior year at TCCA, he was awarded the Master of Dominion Arts award.
" TCCA has given me a moral, academic and disciplined foundation to succeed in college and beyond," Harrison said.
Julia West · TCCA Class of 2005
Julia obtained her Associate's Degree in Nursing from Great Bay Community College and her RN from the NH board of nursing. She will be getting her Bachelor's Degree from the University of New Hampshire in December 2011. She recently obtained her five year service pin from Frisbie Memorial Hospital, where she is employed. During her senior year at TCCA, she was awarded the Master of Dominion Arts award.
" Tri-City has given me the life lesson of hard work and given me long-lasting friends in alumni and faculty," Julia said.
Devan McLean · TCCA Class of 2002
Devan graduated summa cum laude from Taylor University with a Bachelor of Science degree in elementary education in 2006. She is currently a second grade teacher in Charlotte, N.C.
Brian Mathers · TCCA Class of 2002
Brian graduated Best of Tech from New England Institute of Technology in 2011 with an Associates Degree in Information Technology/Network Engineering. He is currently working as a Field Engineer in Fall River, MA and plans on completing his bachelor degree in the Spring of 2014. He recently obtained his CCNA Routing and Switching certification.
Ernest Scheyder · TCCA Class of 2002
Ernest graduated from the Ivy League's Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in 2007. He is currently a reporter at The Associated Press in New York City. During his senior year at TCCA, Ernest was accepted to Boston University, Northeastern University and the University of Maine, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree.
"I certainly would not have made it to the Ivy League were it not for TCCA," Ernest said. "The school exceptionally equips each student with the skills needed to excel in today's highly competitive academic environment." He may be reached at:
Herbert Sprague · TCCA Class of 2001
Herbert is co-owner of Sprague Flooring. He and his wife, Yolande, also Class of 2001, have two children, Eddie and Isaiah.
"The biggest impact Tri-City had on my life was the teaching of the Christian covenant," Herbert said.
Andrew Lewis · TCCA Class of 1998
Andrew is an Army Infantry officer who is currently serving as an Army Fellow at the RAND Corporation in Santa Monica, CA. Andrew previously served as the executive officer for the 1st Battalion, 187th Infantry Regiment at Fort Campbell, Kentucky and the squadron executive officer for the 4th Squadron, 7th Cavalry Regiment, at Camp Hovey in Korea. Andrew has a M.B.A. from Auburn University and a B.S. in Management from the United States Military Academy. Andrew and his wife, Nohelia, Class of 2002, have two children, Natalie and Connor. Adam Lewis · TCCA Class of 1993
Adam is an Army Infantry officer who is currently commanding the 3-60th Infantry Battalion at Fort Jackson, SC. Prior to his command Adam served in the office of the Under Secretary of the Army at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. Adam holds a master's degree in Military Art and Science from the School of Advanced Military Studies. He also holds a B.S. in History from the United States Military Academy
Joshua Borge · TCCA Class of 1995
Joshua graduated from West Point.
Kristen Hitchens · TCCA Class of 1996
Kristen earned her Ph.D. in educational psychology from the University of Texas at Austin in May 2006. She completed her baccalaureate work at Washington and Lee University in 2000. Currently, she is serving in the United States Navy.
