She accepted a position at Traip Academy in Kittery where she worked in the Special Education department until giving birth to her beautiful daughter Jill. After being a stay-at-home mom for 18 months Mrs. Locke returned to the workforce part time job-sharing at the Wells Elementary school 3 days a week.
After the birth of her first son Richard, Mrs. Locke felt led of the Lord to pursue a career in Christian education at Tri-City Christian Academy teaching fifth and sixth grade. She was a teacher at Tri-City for 9 years during which she also worked as the homeschool coordinator and gave birth to her third child Patrick. She spent five years teaching sixth grade at Portsmouth Christian Academy before leaving to recognize her dream of owning her own business. She spent the last 12 years operating her own Christian preschool and teaching kindergarten with her daughter. She is now happily planning her daughter's wedding for spring of 2016 and getting ready for her new adventure at Tri-City Christian Academy teaching 6th, 7th and 8th grade math and history.
Mrs. Locke lives in Berwick, ME with her husband of 33 years, one slightly eccentric cat and one terribly spoiled golden retriever. They have both been members of Tri-City Covenant Church for over 25 years and serve in several different church ministries.
